1. Associate, Business Leaders Group

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain the relationship with BLG members (business leaders from SG, China and ASEAN).
  2. Plan and execute Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) under the guidance of the in charge
  3. Provide publicity support for BLG and ALP events
  4. Produce BLG-related Media invite /Pre-publicity / FB posts /on-site support /event report / thank you notes etc.
  5. Draft and edit admin program/ speeches/ supplements/ official letters/ interview questions/ collateral write ups as and when required.
  6. Research and prepare briefs on potential BLG members
  7. Draft notes of meeting after external engagements
  8. Prepare and keep inventory of corporate gifts and donation collaterals for ALP and BLG engagements
  9. Prepare and submit the Purchase Requisition Form (PRF) for the necessary purchase and transactions.
  10. Photocopy, scan and file necessary documents into the respective project folders for archive purposes and references.
  11. Any other tasks, duties or responsibilities designated by the Deputy Director or Director

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Effectively strong in English and Mandarin – written and verbal communication skills
  2. Keen interest in event organizing, public speaking at major events/meetings and interaction with relevant stakeholders
  3. Knowledge and interest in Singapore – China developments.
  4. Singapore Citizens/Singapore PRs with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Studies or equivalent are welcomed to apply.

2. Associate, FutureChina

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Process corporate membership application and renewal, which includes getting relevant documents ready and researching on their company, as well as maintaining the corporate membership system.
  2. Develop programmes and their contents for the company, such as FCGF, ALP, Nanjing Forum, Swiss Forum etc.
  3. Liaise with partners with regards to the content of the event and logistical arrangements for the various programmes. Partners include hotel, various vendors, management companies, designing vendors, photography vendors, printing vendors etc.
  4. Perform administrative work when engaging various vendors (PRFs, ITQ, quotations, invoices etc).
  5. Prepare Administrative Programmes for Board of Directors when they attend any of our events.
  6. Schedule FC committee meeting date and Liaise with PAs of FC committee members to secure committee’s time slots for various events.
  7. Prepare committee meeting slides and other materials as well as venue.
  8. Design and creating EDMs for events.
  9. Preparing emcee scripts and being emcee for BC events, such as for dialogue series, press conference etc.
  10. Conduct research on latest trends and topics for programme development.
  11. Collate RSVPs from participants and process their registration to various events.
  12. Engaging speakers, such as for FCGF, to settle their matters, including arranging meetups with other speakers, getting their biographies etc.
  13. Translate programme contents, such as synopsis, speakers’ biography, titles.
  14. Draft concept papers for FC events and invitation letters for various programmes.
  15. Do market scan prior to events and for the review of corporate membership.
  16. Prepare meeting minutes for committee meeting as well as other meeting with various partners.
  17. Blasting invitation emails and letters to corporate members.
  18. Any other tasks, duties or responsibilities designated by the Manager or Director

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Effectively strong in English and Mandarin – written and verbal communication skills

3. Associate, GoEast

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assist and support developing and implementing effective initiatives in cultivating & nurturing a pool of bilingual and bicultural, China-savvy and China-ready youth in Singapore.
  2. Support and assist in executing and enhancing the current programs and activities such as immersion trips, internships, exchange programs, local learning journeys, etc., for the target audience.
  3. Ensure all operations adhere to organizational & functional policy & SOPs and records & reports are up-to-date, accurate and properly maintained.
  4. Conduct ongoing macro-scan and analysis of China-ready landscape in Singapore
  5. Provide support and guidance to youth members and assist with the related tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Effectively strong in English and Mandarin – written and verbal communication skills
  2. Knowledge and interest in Singapore – China developments. Passionate about youth development-related work.
  3. Familiar with Photoshop, Canvas, or other EDM making software/apps will be an advantage.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  5. Singapore Citizens/Singapore PRs with a Bachelor’s Degree are welcomed to apply.

4. YES Assistant Manager, GoEast

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assist and support in conceptualizing strategies, approach to cultivate and nurture a pool of bilingual and bicultural, China-savvy and China-ready youth such as Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) students, young working professionals & young entrepreneurs.
  2. Spearhead, support to develop and implement programs and activities for youths with partners. This includes but not limited to building, maintaining & expanding partnerships with stakeholders on relevant programs, not limited to Youth Intern Exchange Scheme (YES)
  3. Provide support and guidance to youth members to ensure focus efforts and activities will contribute to the organization’s cause or focus amongst youths.
  4. Lead for content development and conceptualization of knowledge-rich programmes for youth
  5. Assist in ongoing strategic review and macro-scan of China-ready landscape in Singapore; co-responsible in scoping, designing, and delivering outreach sessions on China-readiness to students in IHLs
  6. Provide strategic support in researching, talking points and speech drafting for BC management’s presence in high-profile conferences, interviews and forums, etc.
  7. Any other tasks, activities or responsibilities designated by Deputy Director

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. Comfortable in both private interactions and public sharing sessions.
  2. Degree in Social Science, Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration or equivalent.
  3. Good knowledge and understanding of Singapore – China developments, passionate about working on youth development programs and activities. Experienced in organizing youth programs is beneficial.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social media marketing. Familiar with Photoshop, Canvas or other EDM-making software/apps will be beneficial.

5. Senior Manager, Strategic Communication

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop media and corporate communication strategies to construct a positive public image for the organization
  2. Responsible for building and executing corporate communications
  3. Proactively manage communication regarding matters which could impact Company's reputation
  4. Leading, developing, and implementing integrated internal and external corporate communications across the company, aimed at promoting and protecting Company's branding, supporting company culture, and employee ambassadorship.
  5. Manage agency relationships and ensure cooperative partnerships and successful outcomes
  6. Adopt a synchronised approach across all mediums including news, public relations, and marketing to ensure effectiveness, avoid duplication of effort, and ensure adherence to uniform standards and policy.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper dissemination of the communication initiatives.
  8. Track, communicate, and evaluate the progress of projects and metrics by providing regular status reports.
  9. Build and manage relations with key industry media
  10. Manage response to media inquiries and proactive news pitching to international media outlets
  11. Develop and implement proactive strategic media relations plans, policies, and procedures to support functional and organisation goals.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to determine when and what must be published.
  13. Conceptualise, develop and produce written materials for internal and external audiences to achieve state, national and international visibility for the organisation.
  14. Support programme teams in organising key events.
  15. Assist other teams with proofreading and other writing materials

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Journalism, Linguistics/Languages, Mass Communications, or equivalent
  2. At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. Effectively strong in English and Chinese in verbal, reading, and written communication to build and maintain strong relationships with English and Chinese-speaking key internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper dissemination of the communication initiatives.
  4. Preferable Senior Manager specialized in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent
  5. Strong leadership and team player qualities with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others
  6. Comfortable in both private interactions, major public activities, and speaking.
  7. Drive and commitment to deliver results with minimum supervision
  8. Serve as a liaison between the Government Relations team and Public Policy team to stay abreast of regulatory changes; develop communications plans to help meet desired objectives.
