Good afternoon
1. On behalf of Business China, I would like to extend my warmest welcome to all of our distinguished guests, for gracing today’s closed-door Dialogue. Particularly a big thank you to Ambassador Stanley Loh who has taken time out of his busy schedule to share his opinions on Sino-Singapore relations.
2. Since Mr Loh began his stint in Beijing in 2012 as the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the People’s Republic of China, he has witnessed the development of Sino-Singapore relations over the past six years. We are honored to have him grace the dialogue and share his valuable insights on Sino-Singapore relations.
3. We are also honoured to have Business China Board Director, Deputy CEO of Singapore Press Holdings Mr Anthony Tan as today’s moderator.
4. Now, I would like to say a few words in Mandarin.
5. 经历40年的改革开放，中国的地位今非昔比，已经跃升为世界第二大经济体，而新加坡与中国的关系也与时俱进，双方朝相互理解、相互尊重、相互合作的方向进一步发展。从两国最高领导人的互动交流、从民间机构以及个人的合作，可以看出新中两国关系的向前发展。显而易见，随着新时代新格局的开展，新中两国可以开拓更多的合作平台，彼此可以乐观展望未来。
6. 通商中国自成立之日起，就致力于搭建联系中国与世界各地文化和经济的桥梁。在当今稳固的双边关系中，通商中国尽心尽力扮演好联接两国的角色。所以我们特地主办了今天的这场沙龙，并且非常荣幸邀请到新加坡驻华特命全权大使罗家良先生来当主讲嘉宾，让见证了新中关系向前推进的大使，跟我们分享他对于新中关系的看法。
7. 最后，我想跟大家说，这将是我最后一次以通商中国总裁的身份出席沙龙讲座，再次感谢大家这两年多来的支持和帮助。预祝大家度过一个愉快、充实的傍晚。谢谢。
