SINGAPORE, 1 JUNE 2023 – Singapore’s next generation of business leaders and public officials can now gain a deeper understanding of the latest political and economic developments in China, thanks to Business China’s Advanced Leaders Programme (ALP).
The fourteen-day programme consists of three different segments:
- Segment 1: Four-day academic programme with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in June 2023;
- Segment 2: Ten-day immersion trip to China led by Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment, and Manpower from 27 August to 5 September 2023 and;
- Segment 3: Half-day insights sharing session in end September / early October 2023.
Participants can look forward to exclusive insights on China from subject matter experts and benefit from mentorship opportunities. This year’s programme focuses on the Chinese and global economic development after China’s reopening, following the Covid-19 pandemic. More details on the programme can be found in Annex A.
Mr Ho Chee Hin, CEO of Business China said, “The ALP provides business leaders and public officials with the necessary knowledge, cultural acumen, and connections, to navigate the evolving landscape of China with confidence, and thrive in the international business arena.”
The programme fee is S$35,000 per participant (subject to prevailing GST), which covers all course materials, domestic travel, meals, and accommodation for the study visit to China. Participants may be eligible for up to 70 per cent funding support from Enterprise Singapore for the fees.Applications for the ALP are now open.
