Fostering Future Leaders in Singapore-China Relations

To further cultivate a community prepared for Singapore-China opportunities, the Business China Youth Forum (BCYF) will take place concurrently with the main event. This platform, specially curated “by youths for youths”, aims to promote biculturalism and deepen appreciation of China and the region. BCYF seeks to equip youths with a solid understanding and in-market experience of the latest political, economic, and social developments in both countries, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future.

For the first time, the Forum will be developed in collaboration with two partners, the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (SingCham), and The Young SEAkers (TYS). This year’s theme, ‘Innovating for an Interconnected Tomorrow,’ encourages youth to drive global collaboration, featuring discussions on key topics such as AI’s impact on gaming, ASEAN youth leading sustainability efforts, and trends in youth consumerism.

BCYF will also include a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Business China and SingCham to establish a Youth Enhanced Exposure Partnership. This agreement will facilitate connections between students and local partners in China, offering a comprehensive experience that includes orientation programmes, settling-in support, mentorship, social integration activities, cultural immersion, and opportunities for internships.
