2009 has been a turbulent year for many, including the Chinese business community. Many were shaken by the financial tsunami, and became victims of the crisis. As such, most look to the cross-strait trade deal as a ray of hope. How shall Chinese businessmen and enterprises overseas capitalise on these critical developments?
Dr Wang Chih-Kang, Chairman of Taiwan External Trade Development Council, shared about the developments of cross-strait relations and arising opportunities for the business community at a forum this afternoon. Organised by Business China, about 250 businessmen, academics and tertiary students attended the 2-hour session held at the Singapore Management University.
