On 23 August, we were honoured to have Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Gan Kim Yong grace our event as the Guest of Honour, along with Business China Chairman Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State for Manpower & Sustainability and the Environment Dr Koh Poh Koon, who is also a Business China Board Member, as well as Speaker of Parliament Mr Seah Kian Peng.
Our guests came with much enthusiasm, and not even a short downpour could dampen their spirits! The dinner was also eventful with guests walking away with tournament awards, lucky draw prizes, and smiles.
We are truly grateful for the generosity towards this fundraising event, which will go a long way towards supporting Business China, a non-profit organisation, to achieve its mandate of nurturing a core pool of Singaporean bilingual and bicultural talents, and enterprises who can engage deeply in economic opportunities with China.
