Business China 2nd Anniversary Celebration

Since its inception in November 2007, Business China has received invaluable support from its partners and friends and is fast establishing itself through various activities organised.

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Business China and express appreciation to the supporters, Business China held its Anniversary Celebration Dinner on 29 December 2009, Tuesday, 7.30pm at The Pyramid. About 100 guests attended the celebration dinner.

Business China is honoured to have its patron, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew as the Guest-of-Honour for the celebration dinner. The highlight of the dinner was a dialogue session with Minister Mentor Lee, a curtain-raiser to the 20th anniversary of Singapore-China diplomatic relations next year.

At the dinner, Chairman of Business China, Mr Chua Thian Poh said, “To establish a strong branding to optimise our limited resources, Business China has adopted three key initiatives to better serve our members, corporate members and student members. They are: Apex, FutureChina and Go East. For example, the goal of Go East initiative is to excite our student members to learn more about China and its rising importance and relevance through fresh and interactive methods.”
