Mr Chan Chun Sing
Coordinating Minister for Public Services;
Minister for Defence
Mr Chan Chun Sing was appointed Singapore’s Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence on 23 May 2025. He has concurrently served as Minister-in-charge of the Public Service since 1 May 2018.
Mr Chan previously served as Minister for Education from May 2021 to May 2025, where he advanced lifelong learning and broadened access to education for learners of diverse abilities, needs and interests. He strengthened professional development for educators and deepened partnerships between schools and industry to better align education with future workforce needs.
From May 2018 to May 2021, Mr Chan led Singapore’s economic and industrial development as Minister for Trade and Industry. In this role, he ratified the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement and deepened international cooperation on the digital economy. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the People’s Association from October 2015 to May 2021, steering national efforts to foster social cohesion and community engagement. From May 2015 to May 2018, he was Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress and expanded the Labour Movement network to represent all working people in Singapore. Before this, he served as Minister for Social and Family Development (2013-2015) and Acting Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports (2011-12). He was also Second Minister for Defence (2013-15) and Minister of State for Information, Communications and the Arts (2011-12).
Serving with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) from 1987 to 2011, Mr Chan held various appointments including Chief of Army. He left the SAF to run in the 2011 General Election and was elected Member of Parliament for Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency.
An SAF (Overseas) and President’s Scholarship holder, he graduated with First Class Honours in Economics from Christ’s College, Cambridge University, UK. He was also awarded the 1998 Distinguished Master Strategist Award by the US Army Command and General Staff College. In 2005, he completed the Sloan Fellows Programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship.
Born in 1969, Mr Chan is married with three children and enjoys reading and jogging.
Mr Ong Ye Kung
Coordinating Minister for Social Policies;
Minister for Health;
Minister-in-charge of Ageing Issues
Ong Ye Kung is the Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies. He was first elected as a Member of Parliament for Sembawang Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in September 2015 and was re-elected in July 2020 and May 2025.
He had held the positions of Minister for Transport, Minister for Education, Second Minister for Defence and board member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He is also the Chairman of the Chinese Development Assistance Council.
Prior to joining politics, he held various positions in Government, including Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, and Deputy Chief Negotiator for the US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. He served several years in the Labour Movement, as the Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress, and spent some time in the private sector, as the Director of Group Strategy at Keppel Corporation.
Mr Ong graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK) and the Institute of Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland. He is married with two children.
Ms Grace Fu Hai Yien

Minister-in-charge of Ageing Issues
Ms Grace Fu graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours), and subsequently obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. She began her career in 1985 with the Overseas Union Bank, and later with the Haw Par Group, in the areas of corporate planning, financial controls and business development.
Ms Fu joined the PSA Corporation in 1995, and took on different responsibilities in finance and marketing. She held the position of Chief Executive Officer, PSA Southeast Asia and Japan, where she was responsible for the business performance of PSA’s flagship terminals in Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Japan.
Ms Fu was elected as a Member of Parliament in June 2006 for the Group Representation Constituency of Jurong, Yuhua Division. She subsequently contested and won her seat in the Yuhua Single Member Constituency in the 2011, 2015 and 2020 General Elections. At the 2025 General Election, Ms Fu led the PAP team in the newly formed Jurong East–Bukit Batok GRC, securing a clear mandate and returning to Parliament.
In 2006, Ms Fu was appointed to the Ministry of National Development as Minister of State. Two years later, she was promoted to Senior Minister of State, and given a concurrent appointment in the Ministry of Education. In 2011, she was appointed as Senior Minister of State in the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, and the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources. In August 2012, she was appointed as Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Second Minister for Environment and Water Resources. In 2014, she was put in charge of the Municipal Services Office.
In 2015, Ms Fu was appointed Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, becoming the first woman in Singapore to helm a Ministry. She also chaired the National Integration Council, National Youth Council, and sat on the board of the People’s Association. She also served on committees, including the Singapore-Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council, the Sino- Singapore Tianjin Eco-city Joint Steering Council, the Ministerial Committee on Ageing and the Economic Strategies Committee.
Ms Fu has served as Minister for Sustainability and the Environment since July 2020, and as Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations since January 2024.
In January 2024, she was also elected as President of the Singapore National Olympic Council and continues to hold this position.
Ms Fu enjoys an active lifestyle, which includes running, yoga and hiking. She is married with three sons.
Dr Tan See Leng
Minister for Manpower;
Minister-in-charge of Energy and Science and Technology
Dr Tan See Leng has served as Singapore’s Minister for Manpower since May 2021. In May 2025, he was concurrently appointed Minister-in-charge of Energy and Science & Technology in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Prior to this, Dr Tan was Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office (July 2020 – May 2021), Second Minister for Manpower (July 2020 – May 2021), and Second Minister for Trade and Industry (May 2020 – May 2025).
As Minister for Manpower, Dr Tan led efforts to build a more inclusive and resilient workforce. He championed the expansion of the Progressive Wage Model to uplift lower-wage workers, introduced stronger protections for platform workers, and advocated for more progressive and inclusive workplaces through the landmark Workplace Fairness Act. He also transformed the migrant worker landscape by raising housing standards, improving healthcare access, and supporting their overall well-being.
At the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr Tan led efforts to stabilise electricity supply during the global energy crunch, such as setting up our first standby liquefied natural gas facility. He also championed the development of alternative low-carbon energy sources for Singapore, including solar, hydrogen, and electricity imports from the region.
Before entering politics, Dr Tan was the Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of IHH HealthCare Berhad (2014 – 2019), where he led the group to double its revenue from RM6 billion to RM12 billion, positioning it as one of Asia’s largest healthcare networks. He was also Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Parkway Pantai Limited (2010 – 2019), during which the group achieved a landmark listing, raising USD2.1 billion in 2012.
Early in his career, Dr Tan founded Healthway Medical Group and was its Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 2002. Under his leadership, Healthway expanded to 40 locations and achieved a turnover of S$20 million, establishing itself as Singapore’s second-largest private primary healthcare provider.
Dr Tan’s extensive experience in business and healthcare continues to shape his leadership in public service.
Mr Chee Hong Tat
Minister for National Development
Mr Chee Hong Tat is currently the Minister for National Development. He also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Board of Directors, Chairman of the Chinese Community Liaison Group and an Adviser to the Board of Directors of Business China.
Mr Chee was first elected as a Member of Parliament for the Bishan-Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in 2015 and was re-elected during the 2020 and 2025 General Elections. Before joining politics, he spent 17 years in the Public Service, and had served as the Principal Private Secretary to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, Chief Executive of the Energy Market Authority and Second Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Before taking on his current role, Mr Chee had served as Minister for Transport, Second Minister for Finance, and Senior Minister of State for Health, Communications & Information, Education, Trade & Industry and Foreign Affairs. He was also Deputy Secretary of the National Trades Union Congress from May 2021 to June 2022.
Mr Chee was born in 1973 and is married with four children. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science (Highest Honours) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (Highest Honours) in Economics. He obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Adelaide University in 2006. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Trades Union Congress in April 2021 and was conferred an Honorary Fellow by the Institution of Engineers, Singapore in January 2023.
Mr Lee Yi Shyan

Chairman, OUE REIT Management Pte Ltd
Mr. Lee joined OUE Limited as an Executive Adviser to the Chairman. Meanwhile he co-chairs 2 subsidiaries of OUE Limited: OUE REIT Management Pte. Ltd and OUE Healthcare Limited. He is also the chairman of ICE Futures Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“IFSG”), an advisor of Keppel Limited and a director of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd.
In terms of community services, Mr. Lee has been appointed as the chairman of Business China since 2016. Business China is a non-profit organization which was founded in 2007, witnessed by Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the Founding Patron of Business China, and Mr. Wen Jiabao, Former Premier of the People’s Republic of China. Business China’s mission is to nurture an inclusive bilingual and bicultural group of Singaporeans to have better and more comprehensive understanding towards China and strengthen the bilateral ties. Mr Lee has been appointed as the director of SPH Media Trust (SMT) since March 2022. Mr Lee also has been appointed as a member of the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) Board of Trustees since June 2022.
During 2006-2015, Mr Lee served in government sector. Mr. Lee was the Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade & Industry, Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Manpower. He stepped down as a member of parliament for East Coast GRC in July 2020.
Prior to his political career, Mr. Lee worked in Ministry of Defence, Economic Development Board (EDB) and International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore).
Mr Lee was honoured with the “Jiangsu Province Honorary Resident” title in 2018. In 2013, Mr. Lee was honoured with the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award by the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Singapore and the Distinguished Alumni Award by the Centre for Creative Leadership, USA, in 2009.
Mr. Lee has served as an economic advisor in various regions across China. In August 2024, he was officially appointed as an Economic Advisor of Shandong Provincial People’s Government. As early as 2001, Mr. Lee was appointed as a Foreign Advisor to the Shanghai’s WTO Affairs Consultation Centre. From 2004 to 2006, he also served as an International Senior Economic Advisor to Shaanxi Province.
Mr. Lee studied Chemical Engineering in the National University of Singapore. He completed an executive management programme at the Harvard Business School in 1997 and a management programme at Tsinghua University in 2001.
Dr Koh Poh Koon
Senior Minister of State for Health;
Senior Minister of State for Manpower
Dr Koh Poh Koon is Senior Minister of State for Manpower, and Sustainability and the Environment. Dr Koh was re-elected as a Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC on 10 July 2020, having served as a Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC since 2015.
At the Ministry of Manpower, Dr Koh oversees employment standards and safeguards, which underpin fair and progressive workplaces for employees and employers. Dr Koh is also focused on strengthening policies and protections for vulnerable workers, including migrant and platform workers. Prior to his appointment at the Ministry of Manpower, Dr Koh was Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress, where he worked closely with union leaders and the Labour Movement network to implement the Industry Transformation Maps and better prepare workers for jobs in key growth sectors. Dr Koh continues to play an instrumental role in Singapore’s tripartite landscape and champions the Progressive Wage Model for lower-wage workers.
At the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Dr Koh is responsible for securing Singapore’s food supply and ensuring that food sold in Singapore is safe for consumption. He also oversees the transformation of the agri-food industry into one that is highly productive, climate-resilient and sustainable by leveraging technology and innovation. Dr Koh also guides the coordination of whole-of-government efforts to combat marine litter and protect Singapore’s coastlines from the threat of sea level rise through the implementation of Singapore’s coastal protection plans.
Prior to his current appointments, he held various positions at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Ministry of National Development.
Before joining politics, Dr Koh held academic appointments as Clinical Lecturer in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Adjunct Clinician Scientist with the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN), a key institution under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star). Dr Koh also served as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon in Singapore General Hospital and was the Director of the Colorectal Cancer Molecular Genetics Research Laboratory as well as the founding Director of the Colorectal Cancer Genomic Health Service.
Dr Koh started his own private practice in 2011 at Capstone Colorectal Surgery Centre in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. In 2012, he partnered Fortis Healthcare Singapore to set up the first dedicated colorectal diseases hospital in Southeast Asia, the Fortis Colorectal hospital.
Dr Koh is a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Singapore Armed Forces, having served as the Commanding Officer of a Combat Service Support Battalion and subsequently as Deputy Brigade Commander. He graduated in 2009 from the Singapore Armed Forces Command and Staff College, where he emerged as the Top Graduate of the 10th National Service Command and Staff Course.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 1996 and obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) as well as the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) in 2005. He received colorectal surgical training in Edinburgh, UK (2002) and completed his Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA (2006).
Ms Sim Ann
Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs;
Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
Ms Sim Ann is the Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Development.
Ms Sim was educated at Hwa Chong Junior College from 1992 to 1993. In 1997, she obtained a B.A (Honours) from Oxford University. She was awarded an M.A from Stanford University in 2009. Ms Sim also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Translation and Interpretation from the Nanyang Technological University. She has worked in multiple government ministries and agencies from 1998 to 2011, including the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Between 2007 and 2009, she was based in Shanghai as Regional Director (East China) for IE Singapore (now known as Enterprise SG), where she assisted Singapore-based companies with their investments in and exports to East China.
Ms Sim entered politics in 2011, and has served as MP for Holland-Bukit Timah GRC since then. She has held political office in the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Law, and the Ministry of Finance. She served as Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. Ms Sim currently serves as the Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Communications and Information.
Mr Tan Kiat How
Senior Minister of State for Health;
Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information
Mr Tan Kiat How is the Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, where he focuses on the Ministry’s efforts in supporting digital transformation of businesses and helping the Small-Medium Enterprises improve their productivity and access new markets. Mr Tan is concurrently the Senior Minister of State for National Development.
Mr Tan also chairs REACH, the lead agency in facilitating whole-of-government efforts in engaging and connecting with Singaporeans on national and social issues close to their hearts, as well as the National Translation Committee. Mr Tan had also previously served in the Prime Minister’s Office as Minister of State.
Prior to entering politics, Mr Tan spent close to 20 years in the public service. He began his career as an IT consultant in the Ministry of Education, under a National Computer Board scholarship. He held several appointments in the then-Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, before moving to the Ministry of Finance to head its economic programmes department. Mr Tan started the Pioneer Generation Office, which is now known as the Silver Generation Office. Under his leadership, the Pioneer Generation Office mobilised 3,000 volunteers to reach out to almost 500,000 seniors within two years.
Mr Tan subsequently took on leadership roles as Deputy Secretary in the then-Ministry of Communications and Information (renamed as the Ministry of Digital Development and Information on 8 July 2024), before he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Infocomm and Media Development Authority.
As a computer engineer by training, Mr Tan has a passion for using technology to enhance the lives of Singaporeans. He led the shaping of the national cybersecurity masterplan and championed a more digital economy and society, including the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence, roll-out of 5G mobile networks, and launch of the SG Digital Ambassadors Programme. He helped to develop the Intelligent Nation 2015 blueprint and drove the implementation of the nationwide fibre-to-the-home infrastructure.
Mr Tan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Computer Engineering in 2001. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Mr Tan is married with two children. In his spare time, Mr Tan enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family and rescued dogs.
Mr Robin Hu
Advisory Senior Director
Temasek
Mr. Hu headed Sustainability and International Policy at Temasek before becoming its Vice Chairman Asia and Operating Partner in 2022. He is currently Advisory Senior Director to Temasek, and Chairman Constellar Holding Ltd, a Temasek portfolio company in the exhibition and convention business. He is Chairman Mandai Nature, a non-profit foundation dedicated to protecting biodiversity and wildlife conservation in Southeast Asia.
Prior to Temasek, Robin was Group CEO of Hong Kong listed English language Daily South China Morning Post Ltd., where he led the group’s transformation into a digital centric media platform that led to its subsequent divestiture to Alibaba Ltd. Robin serves on the board of MediaCorp, Singapore’s national broadcaster.
Beginning 2023, Mr. Hu was made Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Timor Leste ahead of it impending ascension to full ASEAN membership. In addition, he assumed the role of Asia Chairman to American think tank Milken Institute to help grow its presence and reach in Asia.
Mr. Hu has worked and lived in multiple cities in Asia, including Singapore, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hong Kong, spanning multiple industries such as IT, Internet, media, finance, and government. He is a keen follower of current affairs and geopolitics. He is a member of the international advisory council of London based think tank Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), and Bank of Singapore’s CIO Global Advisory Investment Council.
Mr Png Cheong Boon

Png Cheong Boon is the Chairman of Singapore Economic Development Board.
Prior to that, Cheong Boon was the Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Singapore from April 2018 to April 2023. He was previously Second Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Trade & Industry from June 2017 to May 2018. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of JTC Corporation from 2013 to 2017 and Chief Executive of SPRING Singapore from 2008 to 2013. He began his career with the Economic Development Board in 1993 and held various portfolios in Singapore and the US before joining SPRING Singapore as its Deputy Chief Executive in 2003.
Cheong Boon serves on the boards of the Economic Development Board, EDBI, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, Infrastructure Asia, Singapore Israel Industrial Research and Development Foundation, National Research Foundation and Raffles Medical Group. He had also served on the boards of Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd, Singapore Innovate Pte Ltd, Ascendas-Singbridge Pte Ltd, China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co. Ltd, Jurong Port Pte Ltd, the Singapore Suzhou Township Development Pte Ltd, Surbana Jurong Pte Ltd, the Institute for Engineering Leadership at the National University of Singapore and the Institute of Service Excellence at the Singapore Management University.
Cheong Boon was a recipient of the EDB-GlaxoSmithKline scholarship and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Management under the Sloan Fellows Programme at Stanford University.
Cheong Boon has conferred the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 2020.
Mr Anthony Tan

Mr Anthony Tan joined MOH Holdings Pte Ltd on 15 December 2021. MOH Holdings Pte Ltd is the holding company of Singapore’s public healthcare assets. He was previously Deputy Chief Executive Officer in SPH, having assumed the role on 1 July 2016.
Prior to joining SPH, Mr Tan was Deputy Secretary (Policy), Ministry of Health and concurrently Special Assistant to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew (2011-2014). During his career with the Singapore Public Service spanning more than 15 years, he served in various organisations including the Ministry of Finance, Home Affairs, Manpower as well as the People’s Association.
Mr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997 with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Political Science. He also has a Master of Science (Management) degree from the Stanford Business School.
Mr Zhong Sheng Jian

Yanlord Land Group Limited
Mr. Zhong Sheng Jian is the founder of Yanlord Land Group Limited and is responsible for the overall management and strategy development of Yanlord Land Group Limited. Since the 1980s, Mr. Zhong has founded and established a number of businesses in trading, manufacturing and real estate spanning China, Singapore and Hong Kong. He started property development business in the early 1990s through the setting up of offices in Shanghai and Nanjing, which are now part of the Singapore Exchange mainboard-listed Yanlord Land Group Limited.
In recognition of his contribution to various parts of China, Mr. Zhong has been awarded with Honorary Citizenships in Nanjing, Zhuhai, Shanwei and Suzhou in China. In 2005, he was also awarded with the Magnolia Silver Award in Shanghai for his contributions to the Municipal City of Shanghai. In 2010, Mr. Zhong was named and awarded the Singapore Businessman of the Year 2009. In 2015, Mr. Zhong was awarded with the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat), a Singapore National Day Award.
Mr. Zhong is a council member of several Singapore-China investment and trade committees, including Singapore-Sichuan Trade & Investment Committee, Singapore-Tianjin Economic & Trade Council, Singapore-Jiangsu Cooperation Council, Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council, Singapore -Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council and Singapore-China Business Council. He is also the Honorary President of Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan, Honorary Chairman of Hai Lu Feng Association Singapore, Honorary Chairman of Tan Kah Kee Foundation,Vice President of the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, Director of Business China and Council Member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Mr Kho Choon Keng

Mr Kho graduated with First Class Honours in BSc (Engineering) from King’s College University of London. He was also awarded the prestigious Singapore’s President Scholarship and had served in the Singapore Civil Service till joining Lian Huat Group in 1985.
After joining Lian Huat Group in 1985, Mr Kho was responsible in upgrading and modernizing the Group’s management system and expansion plan while preserving the qualities of the traditional Chinese ethics and culture to lead the group to be one with international perspectives and practices and yet nimble with long-term vision.
Mr Kho also holds strong belief in corporate social responsibility and commits the Group and himself to various charity and community work in Singapore and Australia:
Mr Lim Hock Chee

Sheng Siong Group Ltd
Mr Lim Hock Chee was born in Singapore in 1961. He founded the Sheng Siong chain of supermarkets together with his elder brother, Mr Lim Hock Eng, and younger brother, Mr Lim Hock Leng. Established in 1985, Sheng Siong Supermarket Pte Ltd is Singapore’s third largest retailer in Singapore today, operating from more than 65 locations. Sheng Siong Supermarket Pte Ltd’s parent company, Sheng Siong Group Ltd, was listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange in August 2011.
Despite a busy schedule, Mr Lim Hock Chee contributes time, effort and resources to the community, and participates in grassroots activities. He was awarded the Pingat Bakti Marsyarakat Public Service Medal by the Singapore President in 2006. The very next year, he was awarded 10 years long service award by the Prime Minister’s Office. In 2014, he was conferred The Public Service Star (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat) award.
As Sheng Siong Supermarket’s Managing Director and Sheng Siong Group Ltd’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Lim represented Sheng Siong and joined the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) as a corporate member. Since 2010, Mr Lim has served as a Council Member of SCCCI and is elected as the vice-president of the 61st Council in 2022.

Mr Wong Chee Herng is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Straits Construction Group Pte Ltd (“the Group”). Mr Chee Herng was appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2000. In 2008, he became Managing Director assuming full responsibility for the running of the business. Under his leadership, the Group expanded its revenue base by moving out of its core business segment of residential building construction into industrial and commercial building construction.
A strong advocate of the application of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) in the construction industry to boost productivity, Mr Chee Herng led the Group in its successful tender from the Building and Construction Authority to build and operate the second Integrated Construction Prefabrication Hub in Singapore. The facility which focuses on the manufacture of advanced precast is operated by its wholly owned subsidiary, Grey Form Pte Ltd, and was officially opened in October 2017.
A second-generation leader of the family business, Mr Chee Herng spent many school holidays accompanying his father at construction work sites. After his graduation, Mr Chee Herng started out at the lowest rung as an assistant supervisor. Over the years, he earned his spurs as a builder by learning the skills of project management as well as acquiring the virtues of honesty, integrity, and prudence under the tutelage of his father and founder of the Group, Wong Swee Chun.
Mr Chee Herng also sits on the board of Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd, the family-owned real estate development business established in 1983. Today Hoi Hup is a mid-sized developer with projects both in Singapore and London.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore in 1994. An advocate of continuous learning, he completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2018. He is an avid golfer and a keen entrepreneurship advocate as a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and an ex-member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Singapore. He previously sat on the board of Design Studio Group Ltd, a publicly listed company on SGX, from 1999 to 2010. Ms Jane Jie Sun is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Trip.com Group Limited, the largest travel company in China and Asia, and the second largest in the world. She first joined the company as the Chief Financial Officer in 2005, later serving as the Chief Operating Officer and the Co-President, before moving into the CEO role in 2016.
In the years since Ms Sun joined, Trip.com Group has experienced a significant increase in its market capitalisation, growing from about $1 billion to $20 billion, and has continued to rapidly expand its global footprint. Ms Lee Huay Leng was appointed Head of the Chinese Media Group of Singapore Press Holdings on 1 December 2016. She was re-designated as the Editor-in-Chief of the group when SPH Media Trust was formed in December 2021. The Chinese Media Group includes the Chinese language morning daily Lianhe Zaobao and its globally read digital platform zaobao.com, the evening daily Shin Min Daily News, a stable of Student Publications, a digital channel for young audience called HeyKaki and an English language e-magazine called ThinkChina.sg.
Ms Huay Leng started her journalistic career in Lianhe Zaobao in 1994 upon graduation. She was with the paper for 20 years in different roles as sports reporter, political reporter, Hong Kong Correspondent, Beijing Bureau Chief, China Editor, News Editor and Deputy Editor. In January 2014, she took the helm of Lianhe Wanbao and was appointed concurrently as Senior VicePresident (New Growth) of Lianhe Zaobao in November 2015.
For public service, Ms Huay Leng currently serves as a member of the Public Transport Council, Founders’ Memorial Committee and The Esplanade Co Ltd. She is also a board director of the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism.

He founded Kuwo in year 2005, serving as CEO and Chairman. He was in charge of strategy and general management. In year 2014-2016, Kuwo merged with Kugou and QQ Music to form Tencent Music Entertainment Inc. (TME), which became the worldʻs largest music platform in terms of user base.
He is one of Baiduʻs seven co-founders. From 2000 to 2003, he was in charge of the core technology team. He designed the search engine architecture and led the engineer team developing the Baidu Search Engine, which became the No.1 Chinese Search Engine in the world.

Ms Tin Pei Ling is the Co-President of MetaComp Pte Ltd. She was the former Managing Director for Strategic Partnership & Business Development of DCS (formerly known as Diners Club Singapore), and also served as the former Chief Executive Officer of Business China from May 2018 to Dec 2022.
Pei Ling is also an elected Member of Parliament in Singapore since 2011 and was the youngest Member for two terms. Into her third term now, she concurrently serves as the Chairperson of the Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) for Communications & Information (includes Smart Nation & Digital Government), and a member of the GPC for Social and Family Development. Prior to this, she served on the GPC for Home Affairs and Law, Health, and Culture, Community & Youth at different points in time.
