This two-part workshop is specially designed to equip our YES interns with the essential skills to live and work effectively in China. Now in its second run, the Workshop help our interns by helping them master key business and communication skills in Mandarin, gain practical knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of China’s workplace culture, etiquette, and social norms.
This round, our interns took on roles like product managers and data analysts to practise workplace Mandarin through a realistic but fun and engaging way. The trainer for our workshop Dr Koh Chaik Ming, Business China Advanced Leaders Programme 2024 & 2025 China Trip Accompanying Associate Professor, guided our interns through their presentations with vocabulary cheat sheets and AI tools.
We also welcomed back Chloe Peh, a YES intern who attended the first run of the Workshop, to share her internship experience.
