Youth Series session “Defending Local Chinese Heritage” by Ms Lynn Wong

Our Youth Series session, “Defending Local Chinese Heritage”, was successfully held at Kong Chow Wui Koon on 19 Jul 2024! We were honoured to have Ms Lynn Wong share her inspiring and transformative journey behind preserving and promoting local Chinese culture and heritage.
Ms Wong is well recognised for her heritage efforts, helping numerous organisations amplify the impact of their rich histories by curating memorable exhibitions and organising festivals that engage intergenerational audiences.
The event attracted more than 50 enthusiastic participants, including students and young working adults. Attendees toured the Kong Chow Wui Koon and enjoyed a martial arts performance by Ms Lynn Wong. Her sharing also prompted much curiosity from the youths, as they asked many questions before the event ended with an exciting quiz.
