On the morning of the Chinese New Year’s Day (February 16), Business China and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce jointly organized the “Golden Dog Prosperity Group Worship” for the first time. More than 600 invited guests gathered in the business center of Jurong Town Hall to celebrate the Spring Festival.

The guest of honor was Mr. Wang Yikang, the consultant of Business China, the Minister of Education (Higher Education and Skills) and the Second Minister of the Ministry of National Defense. Minister Wang Yikang said in a speech at the Chinese New Year celebration that apart from the government, Business China and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce also have a lot of practical experience and network. If companies need to seek professional advice or business contacts, I believe both organizations can provide assistance.

The significance is to cultivate a new generation of talents with both morals and talents, to explore their potential and display their talents. The development of the country creates real value and guides them to inherit the four spirits of Chinese businessmen, namely:’integrity, allegiance, feedback, and innovation’.

In his speech at the group worship event, Business China Chairman Li Yixian said that Business China had established three strategies for future development on the tenth anniversary of its founding last year: The first is to establish a foothold in the Lion City, connect with China, and look at the world; the second is to contact members and do Provide good service and strengthen cooperation; the third is to nurture more “New Zhongtong” talents.

Chairman Li also mentioned that Business China has also launched two new projects: the “Business China Salon” to discuss current hot topics with members in a small range, and the “Business China Internship Program Fund”. The internship program fund will be able to support 500 local young people to carry out internships in various industries in China for 3 to 6 months to effectively improve their “China Quotient” (China Quotient).

Nanyang Academy of Arts Chinese Orchestra and Dalian University Conservatory of Music Performance Group were also invited to present cultural and entertainment performances at the event. In the lively and joyous atmosphere, the guests gathered in a big circle, greeting each other in the New Year, hoping that in the new year, all the lucky stars will be shining and all the best!
