Business China thanks members for donations to support the China community fight against novel coronavirus and encourages more members to step forward
SINGAPORE, 5 February 2020 | Business China expresses sincere appreciation to our individual and corporate members who responded very positively to our call for donations in support of China’s fight against the novel coronavirus outbreak. As of 4pm today, the total donation amount stands at S$ 377,520. Business China continues to urge members to donate in support of the cause.
The rally for donations was Business China’s response to the Singapore government’s call and Singapore Red Cross Society’s appeal for contributions to help communities in China affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Business China CEO, Tin Pei Ling, said, “We are heartened and encouraged by the very positive response from our members and from friends outside Business China’s network. We thank them for stepping forth. Pledges and donations continue to come through, and we continue to urge members and friends to respond to our appeal. Every contribution is a show of strength and solidarity, as the Singapore community supports China and the world in fighting the novel coronavirus.”
Cheques can be made payable to "Singapore Red Cross Society" and contact Business China to arrange for collection of cheques.
Donors will be acknowledged on Business China’s official website for their kindness.
