Business China’s Closed-door Dialogue with Dr. Xiang Bing, Founding Dean of CKGSB
At the invitation of Business China, the founding dean of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) Dr. Xiang Bing held a closed-door dialogue with Business China members on 6 November 2019 at Swissotel The Stamford. About 50 participants attended the dialogue themed "Chinese Economy: Current Challenges and Opportunities”.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Tin Pei Ling, CEO of Business China, thanked Dean Xiang for his support and noted that it was an opportune time for Dean Xiang to share his insights on the latest developments of the Chinese economy in light of the US-China trade war.
Dean Xiang shared candidly on the topic and charmed the audience with his knowledge and humour. The closed-door session was moderated by Dr. Lee Chih Horng, Associate China News Editor of Lianhe Zaobao, Singapore Press Holdings. Dr. Li and Dean Xiang exchanged and discussed views on topics such as China's economy, government-enterprise relations and public administration, with active participation from the audience.
The session concluded with a presentation of token of appreciation and a group photo of Business China CEO Ms Tin, Dean Xiang, Dr. Lee and Business China Board Member Mr Tan Ser Ping.
