Business China strongly supports Singapore Government’s call and Singapore Red Cross’ appeal for donations to assist the China community fight against novel coronavirus
Business China strongly supports Singapore government’s call to help communities in China affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak and Singapore Red Cross’ lead in Singapore’s effort to do so. Business China has been rallying individual and corporate members to donate and show support to China in this critical time; and have garnered positive results. As of 18 February 2020, 4pm, the total donation amount stands at S$ 517,470.
Business China CEO, Tin Pei Ling, said, “We are heartened and encouraged by the very positive response from our members and from friends outside Business China’s network. We thank them for stepping forth. Pledges and donations continue to come through, and we continue to urge members and friends to respond to our appeal. Every contribution is a show of strength and solidarity, as the Singapore community supports China and the world in fighting the novel coronavirus.”
She also shared, “Business China and our members have maintained warm and long-standing ties with the many business communities in China. Our thoughts are with the communities and families affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak. We believe every contribution counts towards showing our care and concern to the people of China.”
Business China sincerely thanks members and friends for their generous support to this meaningful call.
